The Facility

Hunters Run Farm is a complete Eventing facility located in the beautiful Fox Hunting Country of Metamora, Michigan. Hunters Run Farm Horse Trials is one of Area VIII finest shows. We are commonly called the Little Rolex! Our farm features cross-country courses from Beginner Novice through Intermediate over very rolling/ hilly terrain.

The Boarding Business

The boarding business is limited to twelve horses. We are very proud of the hands on care, by us, that the horses receive. We are a barn that the veterinarians in the area will recommend as a place to go for good care of your horse.

Board starts at $450.00 a month which includes:

• A stall
• All feed
• Turn out daily (24 hour if weather permits)
• Tack room
• Trailer parking
• Clubhouse
• Use of a sand dressage ring, sand jumper ring, and the cross-country courses.
• Small farm/ family type atmosphere!

What is New for 2012

We are excited to announce that we are having Eventing Derbies again this year. The Derbies are unrecognized fun shows for those who do not feel ready for a recognized event or eventers who just want a fun day!!!!!!!! Competitors will ride a dressage test then jump a course with half stadium and half cross-country fences. There will be cross country schooling on the Saturday with a set time to school.

We are hosting an Area 8 adult Rider Clinic with Robin Walker in April. This will be a great way to get tuned up for the up coming show season!!!!!!!

Leslie Law will back in June for a clinic. This is a don’t miss clinic as Leslie is a wonderful clinician plus it is a fun weekend!!!!!!!!

As always there will be changes to all of the courses this year. We always try to make sure that the competitors have new challenges every year in their quest to be constantly progressing in the training of their horses. We hope you can join in the fun we have here the entire season!!!!!!!!
